The Origin

Goran Dinov founded North 37 with a simple conviction: businesses deserve more than headcount — they deserve a partner who transforms how they operate.

Goran’s path to North 37 began far from the transportation industry. After studying at the American College of Greece in Athens, he returned to Macedonia and spent years in his family’s agricultural export business, learning the fundamentals of cross-border operations, logistics, and building commercial relationships across cultures. In 2011, he helped his wife establish a Master Franchise for Helen Doron Early Education in Macedonia — an experience that deepened his understanding of building systems, training teams, and scaling operations from the ground up.

In 2013, Goran joined a US-based transportation factoring company, starting in accounts receivable. Within months, he moved into a managerial role as General Manager. But it was what he built next that defines North 37’s DNA. Over seven years, Goran designed and grew a dedicated outsourced operation in Macedonia serving four divisions of a US transportation holding company — factoring, carrier operations, a truck dealership, and a freight brokerage. He structured each division with its own management team, hired and trained over 65 employees, and managed the entire operation from Southeast Europe with regular strategic visits to the US.

This wasn’t traditional outsourcing. Goran had a seat at the strategic table — attending executive meetings, auditing workflows across every department, identifying processes that could be optimized or relocated, recommending technology implementations, and writing executive reports with findings and improvement plans. He proved that a deeply embedded team, operating from 7,000 miles away, could drive results that matched or exceeded what an in-house operation could achieve.

After parting ways with the holding company, Goran went hands-on — running his own dispatch operation for two years, booking loads, negotiating rates, planning routes, and managing drivers for small carriers. He then launched a traditional outsourcing company serving mid-size US carriers. It worked — until it didn’t. When his largest client was acquired by a corporation and the contract ended, the lesson was clear: providing headcount without strategic depth creates relationships that don’t survive change.

That’s when North 37 was born — not as another outsourcing company, but as a strategic operations partner that combines skilled people, process optimization, and custom AI technology. Today, Goran is also working alongside Sunset Services US, a landscaping and hardscape company, where he serves as a strategic operations partner — setting up their back office, implementing systems, training staff, and developing AI-powered tools that are becoming North 37’s first SaaS product line for the Home Services industry.
